Over a 25-year period from the sixties into the eighties, the Baltimore Orioles were considered the model major league franchise. "The Oriole Way," the popular term used to describe the organization's philosophy during this period, served the Orioles very well, leading to multiple division titles, pennants, orioles hat and World Series championships.
