Over a 25-year period from the sixties into the eighties, the Baltimore Orioles were considered the model major league franchise. "The Oriole Way," the popular term used to describe the organization's philosophy during this period, served the Orioles very well, leading to multiple division titles, pennants, illinois ioles and World Series championships.
